Nobody is perfect, and often there are parts of ourselves we’d like to work on. Sometimes we need an outside perspective to help us figure out just how to work on those parts! Collaborating with a therapist isn’t always easy, but I understand just how impactful it can be to work with someone to effectively navigate the things we’d like to change in our lives. I aim to create a comforting space where we can work together on your priorities. I work with teens and adults.

It can be easy to get stuck and weighed down by our emotions, but by processing them together, I can help you feel unstuck and lighter. I specialize in anxiety, depression, family, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, relationships, and trauma.

In my time as a therapist, I’ve learned to listen closely and hear what your needs are as we work together. My objective is to empower you in all the aspects of your life where you hope to gain more insight, clarity, closure, or anything else you seek. As a social worker, I want to sincerely work with every patient I treat to reach their goals in as dignified a way as possible. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like to work together.

I may not always have immediate availability. If so, we’ll respond right away with some alternative therapists specialized to your needs!

Jake has years of prior experience in mental health, including his work at an inpatient center where he treated adolescents for depression, anxiety, other disorders, and guided patients through trauma processing and behavioral management. Some of his other work includes treating people living with autism and other life challenges and facilitating CBT groups.
