There are a lot of beautiful things in this world, but there is nothing I have encountered more beautiful and complex than human beings.

There is so much depth, mystery, beauty, pain, and meaning in each person’s story. I became a therapist because of my longing to hear people’s stories and meet them exactly where they are at. My greatest passion is caring for people through empathy, understanding, listening, and interceding into life’s painful moments. It is powerful to be offered acceptance, empathy, compassion, and unconditional positive regard in the midst of struggle, and I am committed to offering this to my clients. This is essential in moving toward abundant, values-based living.

Working with me offers a space to be yourself, identify growth areas, receive tools and support, and more than anything, be seen, heard, and understood. I will compassionately challenge you from the foundation of trust and care I will work to build with you.

My therapeutic experience involves working at a non-profit counseling practice, as well as an eating disorder treatment center at various levels of care. I have experience in a variety of areas including eating disorders, mood disorders, spirituality, life transitions, addictions, grief, trauma, stress, and relationship issues. This experience has equipped me with a wide range of tools and approaches that can be tailored toward a client’s specific needs.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and includes the following modalities: Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, & Psychodynamic Therapy.

I may not always have immediate availability. If so, we’ll respond right away with some alternative therapists specialized to your needs!
