We’ve heard people talk about how great therapy is, and no one really mentions how hard and uncomfortable it is. I want to help you have a realistic view of what to set. Together, we’ll create a space where you don’t have to be afraid to share your life. I have helped others to heal from past painful experiences and to find deeper meaning in their lives. You create better habits, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and shift your perspective. You can expect kindness, authenticity, pop culture references, and maybe even a swear word or two. This effort is no small feat, and it requires an honest view of yourself. Emotions are a normal part of being a human, and they don’t have to be scary.

Maybe you are walking around with a weight on your shoulders, not feeling like yourself, or exploring wondering who you are and who you want to be. My five years of experience working with mental health and substance use concerns has taught me to be an authentic, non-judgmental counselor who offers a compassionate, thought-provoking environment.

Everyone is on their own journey, and as your therapist, I’m honored to be on the path with you. My goal as a therapist is to allow you to explore and examine your life in a new way without fear of judgement.

I stand with and support the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.

I may not always have immediate availability. If so, we’ll respond right away with some alternative therapists specialized to your needs!

A little more about me:

Balance is key for me in my free time. Maybe I’ll be super social and have a packed weekend of activities, camping, or travel with friends. Other times, I want to binge watch Stranger Things again and cuddle my dog. Usually, it is a mix of the two. Give me a pool and a good book, and that is my happy place.
