Every phase of life offers challenges, uncertainties, and opportunities for growth. I empower my clients to make the changes they feel they can’t. I take a holistic approach, incorporating the person and their environment in healing. I know how vital it is to meet you where you are in life, and will help you build your resilience from within through a person-centered approach. You may often feel alone, but I provide a safe space to walk with you through life’s obstacles.

I graduated from the University of Southern California where I trained in adult mental health and wellness. I use a variety of modalities, a strengths-based approach, and a trauma-informed lens to tailor your treatment. Together, we’ll find the best path forward to addressing your problems and conflicts. Feeling valuable — even once — can be life changing, and I know just how much we need affirmation, encouragement, and validation to be heard and understood.

We deserve time for ourselves and our stories. We deserve a chance to be vulnerable, and to know that someone is always walking alongside us. I’m passionate about helping you heal, and look forward to our journey together.

I may not always have immediate availability. If so, we’ll respond right away with some alternative therapists specialized to your needs!

Before arriving at Better Life, Alicia practiced therapy and case management at a local behavioral health clinic. Alicia also has experience facilitating group therapy for domestic violence survivors and administering risk-assessments for high-risk patients.

A little more about me:

I’m a transplant from Ohio who has been living in Colorado for over half my life! I love being in nature, backpacking or hiking, and taking my rescue doggy for walks around the park. I enjoy all of the beauty in Colorado; hot springs are my favorite. I love reading and hanging out with my husband and kitties, they’re good reminders to be grateful for all the small things! I appreciate seeing live music and doing yoga when time allows, things I find energy and grounding in to stay present in the moment.
