All people are trying their best to survive and cope with the pain that life brings. That sentiment is the basis of my therapeutic practice: acknowledging that circumstances can prompt people to cope in ways that don’t support their goals. As a therapist, I want to empower you to break patterns of negative thoughts, urges, and behaviors so you can let go of what is not serving you anymore.

I am experienced in working with eating disorders (including Anorexia, ARFID, Bulimia, and BED), depression and anxiety, OCD, trauma, and difficulties with emotion regulation and suicidality. I especially enjoy focusing on the intersection of disordered eating, neurodivergence, and LGBTQIA+ identities.

I believe in the transformative power of a therapeutic relationship that is both compassionate and direct; I will hold you accountable for growth while acknowledging your unique strengths and challenges. A pillar of my work is behavioral therapy using DBT and Radically Open DBT. I also incorporate CBT, ACT, ERP, and CPT for PTSD. My approach is person-centered and adapted to meet you where you are at. I look forward to learning where that is.

I may not always have immediate availability. If so, we’ll respond right away with some alternative therapists specialized to your needs!

Haley’s years of experience center around intensive outpatient (IOP) group and individual therapy, both for mood/anxiety disorders and eating disorders. Her additional work includes individual and family therapy for eating disorder partial hospitalization, residential, and inpatient levels of care. She has experience safety planning for chronic suicidality and self-harm.
