Glenys Hunt

Pre-Licensed Professional

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Location: Denver, CO

I believe one of the most courageous things you can do is to have hope. Hope, happiness, connection, authenticity, and security may feel inaccessible sometimes, and that’s where you and I can work. Thanks for being here.

There’s no owner’s manual to being human, and while we all may be out here figuring it out, we don’t deserve to figure it out alone. We do deserve to feel loved, understood, accepted, honored, and safe, within ourselves and with others. Together, we can access your own innate wisdom, build trust through non-judgement and compassion, and collaborate on what support, growth, healing and actualization look like for you.
As a holistic therapist, I am warm, compassionate, genuine, and curious. I partner with the mind-body-spirit connection, the interconnection between us all, and with the natural world. My practice integrates person-centered modalities, specializing in somatic and parts work, ecotherapy, mindfulness, Gestalt, and transpersonal approaches, linking them together to best meet my clients’ needs. I specialize in working with clients who are motivated to create movement with their ADHD, trauma, disconnection from self and others, depression, and anxiety.
At the end of the day, we are our own most constant companion. Let’s work on befriending that person together.

I may not always have immediate availability. If so, we’ll respond right away with some alternative therapists specialized to your needs!

Glenys has years of prior experience in mental health, including her work in an inpatient center where she worked with teens and young adults for depression, anxiety, and other disorders, and guided patients through trauma processing and behavioral management. She also has an extensive background in nature-based therapy, ceremony, and rites of passage work.

A little more about me:

When I’m not working with clients, you can find me outside with my partner, and rez dog, Yonder. I love finding new ways to move my body, and have found a lot of joy recently in learning to mountain bike. Live music always gets me dancing, and my plant collection is ever growing.
