Who I Work With

My Approach to Therapy

I am here to help you find life’s rainbows!

Despite the storms, you are not alone. I want to give you the space and support you need to achieve the life you dream of. Life is too short to continue walking the paths that detour you from reaching everything you want. I will walk by your side through this journey because, let’s face it, life can be really hard and therapy can feel daunting and uncomfortable. Therapy can also provide new perspectives, growth, and healing.

I believe therapy is a space for you to share your unique story. As your therapist, I want to listen to what makes you special and help you recognize all the remarkable qualities and strengths within you. Through my experience as a mental health professional and therapist, I have helped youth and their families through authentic change and healing by building genuine connection and providing purposeful support.

I have years of experience working with adolescents struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ODC, and eating disorders in a residential care setting. I supported my clients as they worked through trauma processing and behavioral and emotional management.

I have experience leading therapeutic and psychoeducational groups. Some of my other work includes treating individuals with substance abuse and work with families in the child welfare.

A little more about me…

When I’m not in the office, I can be found in one of two places: playing outside or snuggling my dogs on the couch. I love sunshine, hiking, and paddleboarding almost as much as I love a classic 2000s movie. This year I hope to see the wildflowers bloom in Crested Butte, CO, hike a new 14er, and learn how to ski!
