Who I Work With

My Approach to Therapy

I’m a therapist who believes that healing and growth happen through connection—when people feel truly seen, heard, and supported. I work with adults to navigate life’s challenges using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with talk therapy, motivational interviewing, and somatic practices. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, helping clients identify and build on their existing skills and resilience. I strive to create a space that feels safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental, where clients can explore their experiences, gain new insights, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Carolyn has experience providing individual, group, and family therapy for adults managing anxiety, OCD, BPD, depression, PTSD, and relational challenges. In addition to her work with adults, Carolyn has experience providing experiential, somatic, and talk-based therapy with adolescents. Her background also includes working in a residential setting treating adolescents and adults with eating disorders.

A little more about me…

When I’m not in the therapy room, you can usually find me outdoors hiking, camping, skiing, or exploring somewhere new with friends. I recharge with yoga, a good book, or creating a new piece of art. I’m always up for new experiences and opportunities to learn, connect, and grow.
