My Approach to Therapy
Sometimes life presents unexpected and challenging situations to handle. Every so often we spend years carrying the weight of certain painful events that have not been resolved in the past. I understand the courage and strength it takes to recognize when it is time to seek help and someone to talk to about what we are going through.
Everyone is the owner and expert in their life, and I genuinely believe that everyone can cope and overcome life’s adversities. My role as a therapist is to be the bridge that helps you find your own answers, your truth, and the meaning of life. We will identify your goals and aspirations and take steps to achieve the best version of yourself.
I believe the first step to healing is building a caring and therapeutic relationship with my clients. I focus on providing a safe, validating, and non-judgmental space where you
allow yourself to explore and give a place to those thoughts, feelings, and difficulties that you are going through. My therapeutic approach is one of acceptance and openness, with humble curiosity and respect for you and your experiences.
My areas of focus include relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy with a feminist, multicultural, and LGBTQ+-affirming lens.
A little more about me…
Passionate about nature and outdoor activities, I find great joy in going for runs and getting lost in the trails, whether to disconnect or connect. During the summer I love hiking, and in winter I hit the slopes for snowboarding. Besides my adventurous side, I am also highly curious about different cultures. Born in Argentina, traveling to learn about customs and immersing myself in diverse cultures to learn new languages are some of my greatest passions. Colorado has become my home, and to be honest, I absolutely adore it.
