My Approach to Therapy
I specialize in navigating trauma, PTSD, ADHD, and life transitions. I also support clients living with challenges like grief, LGBTQ+ concerns, OCD, and autism (among others). My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and person-centered. I integrate somatic practices, parts work, and mindfulness to support the mind-body connection. I also consider the systems and environments shaping your experience while honoring your existing strengths.
Therapy moves at your pace. Together, we’ll build insight, deepen self-connection, and create meaningful, sustainable change. You don’t have to navigate this alone. If it feels like a good fit, I’d be honored to work with you.
Maddie brings five years of clinical experience to her work, beginning with a foundation in ABA therapy. For the past four years, she’s worked as an Intensive Behavioral Health Specialist on an inpatient psychiatric unit for children and adolescents. In this role, she developed expertise in transdiagnostic interventions for mood disorders, crisis stabilization, motivational interviewing, and de-escalation techniques. She also lead both group and individual sessions using DBT and CBT-based skills, and incorporated creative therapeutic approaches such as drama and art therapy.
A little more about me…
I’m happiest when I’m outside—whether I’m mountain biking, snowboarding, or rock climbing with friends. I find a lot of joy and balance in spending time in nature. When I’m indoors, I love to slow down with creative outlets like journaling or making collages.
