My Approach
Looking for a place to find your peace? Hopefully my office can be that place. I believe that people deserve to live a life of peace and growth. I want to be a part of your village that supports better outcomes for your life.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or just need a place to organize your thoughts, I can help you navigate the feelings that arise. I will provide you tools to make this process work for you. I use a multi-faceted approach to counseling and will use resources such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am dedicated to finding which resources will work best for you. I am interested in specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mood disorders or personality disorders. I look forward to working with you!
Katie interned for the Unumb Center for Neurodevelopment in Columbia, SC, helping children with autism learn how to navigate social situations and improve their social skills. She also worked in a psychiatric hospital as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT). As a BHT, she helped patients manage the symptoms of their mental disorders and improve emotional well-being to better their situations outside of the hospital.

Hi! I am originally from Myrtle Beach, SC and moved to Denver recently. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, taking my dog new places, thrifting clothes and furniture, and painting. I lived abroad in Aarhus, Denmark and traveled to 14 European countries while I was living there. I enjoy traveling and am always looking for recommendations on where to go next.
