Who I Work With

My Approach to Therapy

Reaching out to a therapist can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do this alone. My goal is to make this process as welcoming and supportive as possible. Maybe you’ve always been able to manage life’s challenges, but lately everything feels heavier. You don’t always have to feel this way—real change is possible.

I work with individuals who are tired of feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck and are ready to feel more steady, confident, and clear-headed. Through a warm, thoughtful, and direct approach, I’ll help you reconnect with yourself, rebuild trust in your own resilience, and strengthen your sense of self-worth.

In our work together, I draw from strength-based and solution-focused therapy, while also exploring attachment patterns and how they shape your relationships. My goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, empowered, and supported as you create meaningful change.

Reaching out is a brave first step. If you’re ready to move toward growth and healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you on that journey. My therapeutic style is relational, affirming, and rooted in harm reduction. I draw from culturally responsive, client-centered, strengths-based, narrative, and somatic approaches, as well as CBT, ACT, DBT, and existential therapy to support each client’s unique needs. Additionally, I bring a nature-based lens to my work.

I believe that individuals are the experts in their own lives, and I am here to support and empower their journeys. As a clinician, I aim to incorporate this insight and experience to meet the needs of my clients, acknowledging that we do not exist in isolation. If you resonate with this approach, I welcome you to connect with me.

Avery has eight years of prior experience working as an Early Childhood Education assistant, then teacher. She’s worked with families from all different backgrounds including working with foster kids and kids with behavioral/developmental issues.

A bit more about me…

I am a Colorado native who loves music, reading, and giving my cat Stormi lots of cuddles! I love to learn and go to museums, watch lots of documentaries, and I even love to go to historical landmarks wherever I travel to.
