GROUP THERAPY

DIALECTICAL BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (DBT)

DBT is one of the most researched approaches to therapy. We know it works for taming emotions that feel out of control, helping you improve relationships, and learning to tolerate distress.
  • Struggle with intense emotions, including deep anger, sadness, or fear
  • Frequently fight with friends, coworkers
  • Feel life isn’t worth living

DBT GROUP

Join us for a therapist-led psychoeducational group to learn skills in the four DBT modules.

Primary Targets of DBT

  • Strengthen relationships.
  • Tolerate difficult situations without trying to change them.
  • Manage difficult emotions.
  • Focus on the present moment

DBT Adherence

A DBT approach adherent to the original model involves individual therapy, skills group, and a therapist in consultation groups for ongoing support and phone coaching for clients.

Please note that at this time, we do not offer a fully adherent approach. We do offer individual counseling based in DBT, intermittent 8-week skills groups, and ongoing consultation and supervision for our therapists.

Our next DBT Skills Group begins March 26th. Click below to learn more!
