Clients have told me that I am caring and compassionate, and that I aim to understand. Through learning and listening, my goal is to walk alongside you on the path to healing. Struggle takes many forms, and while I focus on trauma, grief, anxiety and depression, I am willing to help anyone who may benefit from what I can offer.<\/p>\n

I use a combination of non-directive, CBT, DBT and narrative therapies, as well as mindfulness and psychoeducation, and believe that the best approach is flexibility. We are all an unfolding process, and as progress is made and goals evolve, so should the approach. I will continually tailor our work together to best meet your needs.<\/p>\n

James has years of prior experience in community mental health, including working at various nonprofits providing direct services. Some of his work includes supporting people with housing needs, working through trauma, and career transitions. He is also a trained death doula.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
