You deserve a space where you can be fully seen—where you don’t have to perform or pretend. I work with teens and young adults to navigate identity, trauma, eating disorders, transitions, and religious deconstruction. Therapy with me is reflective, curious, and full of grace. I believe you already have the resilience you need; I’m here to help you find it again. With humor, metaphor, and mindfulness, we’ll explore patterns and build tools that help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to who you are.

I’m person-centered and integrate REBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based practices. I also draw from my own background in eating disorders and religious trauma. My style is warm, creative, and gently challenging. I offer virtual and in-person sessions (hybrid available), and I meet clients where they are—with flexibility, kindness, and authenticity.

Raised in a highly demanding religious home and homeschooled, I understand what it means to question, grieve, and rebuild. I love Brené Brown’s reminder that “true belonging doesn’t require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are.” You don’t have to do this alone. Therapy can be the first step toward coming home to yourself.

I may not always have immediate availability. If so, we’ll respond right away with some alternative therapists specialized to your needs!

Sarah has over three years of experience working in mental health, including in inpatient and partial hospitalization settings where she supported children, adolescents, and adults. Her work has included facilitating CBT, DBT, ACT, and relapse prevention groups, as well as providing crisis intervention for individuals struggling with suicidal thoughts and self-harm. She also has experience in school-based settings, teaching social-emotional learning and helping students develop tools for emotional awareness, regulation, and connection.

A little more about me:

When I’m not working, I’m usually hanging out with my two dogs—Moose, my cuddly little dramatic dachshund, and Miley, my sweet special-needs poodle who is honestly just an angel. I love reading romantasy, making things with my hands (crochet, painting, sewing—whatever I’m in the mood for), and hanging out with my friends. I also love music and singing—it’s always been a huge part of my life, and even though I studied it in college, it still feels like home to me.
