Our approach

We focus on doing what works. That means using a combination of approaches based on who you are and what you’re looking to get out of therapy.

Therapy looks a bit different for each person. It may be focused on exploring and making sense of your story. It may include learning concrete skills for changing thought and behavior patterns. It may involve work outside of sessions. We’ll talk about your preferences and together, we’ll develop a plan that will move you toward your goals.

For those interested, our approach is rooted in a combination of several approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, internal family systems and mindfulness-based therapy.

In office

Our office is located in the heart of Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. We’ve put a lot of thought into creating a warm, inviting space. Grab some water, tea or hot chocolate and have a seat on the couch.


We offer HIPAA-secure video conferencing for those who find it more convenient or don’t have access to excellent treatment in their area.
